SOLD OUT - Mixed Media Workshop with Lesley Birch

This event has now sold out.

A practical workshop with landscape artist Lesley Birch as part of York Open Studios 2017. Participants will use charcoal, collage, inks and acrylics on paper to produce an individual and personal response to the paintings of Albert Moore on show in the gallery.

£50 per person to include all materials and gallery entry.

Join one of our costumed guides on our famous Victorian street Kirkgate every day at 11.45am and 3.00pm for a free 15 minute informal talk.

Each talk is different but will provide an introduction to Kirkgate, the history of York Castle Museum, and the objects on display, as well as the people who lived and worked in York during the Victorian period of 1870-1901.

Please note that talks are subject to the availability of our guides.

York Museum Garden Tours

Venue: York Museum Gardens

Meet inside the Museum Street gates and gain an insight into one of the most popular gardens in York. The gardens contain a wealth of plant life, botanical specimens and wildlife, as well as the spectacular ruins of St Mary’s Abbey and the Roman Multangular Tower. Our knowledgeable guides will show you the highlights of this truly unique garden.

Tours start at 1pm every Sunday and last approximately one hour.
