The Big Bad Wolf – Sat 27 Oct 2018

The Big Bad Wolf

Date: Saturday 27 October 2018, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Venue: Yorkshire Museum

Join us October Half Term for this family-friendly event!

Take a trail around the museum as we look at some age-old myths about wolves, like werewolves and shapeshifters.

Then, if you dare, meet the Big Bad Wolf himself!

After that, take part in our very important debate about whether wolves should be brought back into the wild in Britain:

  • Look at the reasons for and against
  • Know your facts from your fiction as you use the information around the room to help you make a decision
  • Take a vote in our ballot box, share your views on our ‘view point wall’ and make your own badge or banner to take home

Meanwhile, under fives can enjoy traditional stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

We’ll also have lots of fun activities to do like reading story books, dressing up and playing with puppets.

These activities take place between 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm and are included with your museum admission. There’s no need to book.

For our admission prices, please see our visitor information page.
