BBC History Magazine's History Weekend 2018

Dates: Friday 19 October 2018–Sunday 21 October 2018, All Day

From 19–21 October, BBC History Magazine’s History Weekend will be returning for its fourth year to the historic city of York.

The ancient city is steeped in history and we’re delighted to be hosting the festival in two fantastic venues: Yorkshire Museum, one of the first purpose-built museums in England, and King’s Manor, a stunning collection of Grade I listed buildings.

Featuring 29 diverse and engaging talks, interactive Q&As and book signings from some of the world’s leading historians and authors – including Ian Kershaw, Alison Weir, Andrew Roberts, Tracy Borman and Michael Wood – it’s a weekend not to be missed…
