Old Collections, New Questions: Roman Study Day 2 – Fri 23 Feb 2018

Old Collections, New Questions: Roman Study Day 2

In 2017 York Museums Trust launched the ‘Old Collections, New Questions’ Roman Research Project, an Arts Council England supported project to carry out new and innovative research into the Yorkshire Museum’s internationally significant Roman collections.

One year on you are invited to join museum professionals, academics, researchers, and enthusiasts to hear what progress has been made, what new research has been undertaken, and discuss the project’s next steps.

The Study Day will introduce attendees to the project, set out its acheivements so far, and invite discussion through a series of talks and case studies from curators, research partners, and volunteers.

All are welcome. We would really value your input, interest, and expertise on the day, and hope you are able to attend.
