Date: Wednesday 14 February 2018, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Venue: York Castle Museum
Discover the history of the fight for women’s right to vote at the museum this half term. Put on a sash (or opt for a policeman’s helmet!) and join our Suffragette on Kirkgate, the museum’s Victorian Street. March with placards, demonstrate, and protest for your cause. Be careful you don’t get arrested by the policeman and locked up in our cell!
Marches will take place throughout the day on Kirkgate from 10am to 4pm every day 10-18 February.
Free with admission, no need to book.
