Join Gemma from Hoglets Theatre to look at how times have changed since the Tiger Who Came To Tea was written in the 1960’s.

These days it is just as possible that Daddy will be at home doing the cooking and cleaning and Mummy is the one who goes out to work; or that two mums or two dads are working from home whilst juggling childcare.

Would it be a Tiger or a Tigress who came to tea? Starting our workshop in the 60’s gallery, we will look at how times and attitudes to gender and gender roles have changed. We’ll then return to our creative lab to create an up-to-date version of the story for our times using drama games, role play and creative writing.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
