Mothers Who Make

The Mothers Who Make network set out to create a friendly and welcoming space for any artistically-minded mother or mother-to-be.

The space is there for you to share and discuss your lives, work and the never-ending balancing act that is being a mother who makes.

Local pianist Kate Ledger runs this meeting that acts as a support group but with the potential for anyone to contribute emotionally or artistically.

This event is free with your gallery admission. Children are very much welcome. All art forms and levels of establishment are also welcome.

Join us for this talk on the Automaton Clock, an extravagant clock featuring moving figures and sound.

In this talk, we’ll discuss this fascinating clock and what we know about its history. Afterwards, we’ll activate the clock so you can see its many decorations brought to life.
