This midsummer’s night the Museum is marking the special display of Shakespeare’s First Folio, with a screening of the 1999 film adaptation of A Midsummer’s Night Dream, starring Michelle Pffeiffer and Rupert Everett.

The Folio, on loan from Craven District Council, is a compilation of 36 of Shakespeare’s plays published in 1623, one of only four on display in the world.

Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine in the museum’s Capital of the North medieval exhibition and view the Folio on display, before the film starts at 7.30pm.
