Frozen Fever – Sun 10 Apr 2016

Date: Sunday 10 April 2016, 10:30 am - 3:30 pm
Venue: Yorkshire Museum

The 5-minute film will be shown after a 40 minute, interactive stage performance with the Snow Queen, joined by her friends. This performance is inspired by the original Frozen story – Hans Christian Anderson’s ‘The Snow Queen’. Our live host ‘The Snow Queen’ will introduce guests to their magical fun pack to interact with the movie; Guests are encouraged to dress up in fancy dress. There will be photo opportunities after the show.

Easter Holidays Studio Drop-in: Flowers and Birds – Sun 10 Apr 2016

Venue: York Art Gallery

Drop in to the Studio to celebrate the coming of Spring with paper and string – make birds inspired by Mark Hearld and flowers to add to our giant herbaceous border.

Drop in sessions 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.

The activities are FREE but for £5 your child can gain a nationally recognised qualification, the Discover Arts Award.

Night at the Museum – Sun 10 Apr 2016

Guests are encouraged to watch the film and then find out what happens when the doors of this museum close for the evening! After the film, guests will have their own adventure, following the clues around the museum, where the characters will come to life. There’ll be scrolls to decipher, incantations to complete, animal footprints to track and missing artefacts to find. This film is rated PG.

Batman the Movie – CANCELLED – Sun 10 Apr 2016

Unfortunately this screening has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience.

It’s the 50th anniversary of ‘Batman the Movie’ this year. Naturally Batman and Robin will be there, plus all the villians – Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman. There will be an interactive performance before the film where guests can have a go at solving riddles, fighting the shark etc. Dressing up encouraged! This film is rated U.

Tickets £12 per person.
