To mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War, York Castle Museum will remain open after hours for the public to explore the major new exhibition, 1914: When the World Changed Forever.
There will be a special price for entry between 5pm and 8pm – £5 (new exhibition only).
Join Senior Curator of History and Archaeology, Alison Bodley, as she talks about life in York in 1914 and the beginning of the war as the peace and prosperity of Europe fell apart.
