Venue: York Castle Museum

To mark Human Rights Day talks by members of York Human Rights City are taking place at the museum, as it displays the city’s Human Rights City Declaration.
It is signed by all four main political parties in York and created history in 2017 as the city became the UK’s first Human Rights City.

Talks at 11am and 2pm.

Included in the admission price, no need to book.

Curator Talk: Copper Minerals from the Bronze Age to the Present Day – Tue 10 Dec 2019

Date: Tuesday 10 December 2019, 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm
Venue: Yorkshire Museum

This talk will explore copper minerals ranging from the Bronze age to the present day. Our lunchtime talks are ideal for gaining an insight into some of our most interesting artefacts from our archaeology and natural science collections. Talks take place Tuesdays 12.30-1pm and are FREE with admission. There’s no need to book.
