An Audience with Father Christmas – Sat 7 Dec 2019

Dates: Saturday 7 December 2019–Sunday 8 December 2019, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
Venue: York Castle Museum

Every weekend from 16th November – 22nd December with extra week dates including Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th December.

10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm 
Online bookings only for 10:30am, 11:30am and 2:30pm sessions only.

The Design of Early Netherlandish Images – Sat 7 Dec 2019

This lecture by Jeanne Nuechterlein, curator of the exhibition Making a Masterpiece: Bouts and Beyond (c.1450–2020), explores the ideas behind the making of early Netherlandish images, and why these artworks are still so effective today.
