The Lost Letters - A Christmas Mystery

A cheeky Christmas Elf has hidden children’s letters to Father Christmas! Follow a special Christmas trail and join in with festive activities to solve the mystery before meeting Father Christmas to receive a gift.

£5 per child, which includes meeting Father Christmas and a gift.

Admission applies for adults, no need to book.

On Sunday 24 December, Father Christmas will be with us 10am-12pm and 12.30-2.30pm. Trails can be purchased from 9.30am until 12.30pm. Please note that we advise arriving early to see Father Christmas as he is very popular. Due to high demand, waiting times to see Father Christmas after completing the trail have been up to an hour.

Please note that pushchairs cannot be taken into galleries. A ‘buggy park’ and a choice of baby carriers are available free of charge.

The museum will close at 2.30pm today.

A Christmas Carol

Join our Ebenezer Scrooge as he discovers the true meaning of Christmas under the garlands of our Victorian street, Kirkgate – the perfect way to feel festive!

Today’s performances will take place at 11am, 11.45am, 12.30pm, and 1.15pm.

Free with admission, no need to book.
