Storytelling Festival – Sat 13 Jun 2015

Date: Saturday 13 June 2015, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Venue: York Museum Gardens

Volunteers from the University of York will be bringing artwork to life in Museum Gardens this summer as part of the York Festival of Ideas.

Inspired by paintings from the soon to reopen York Art Gallery, the student storytellers will be taking the public on a magical adventure beyond the canvas and into a realm of imagination.

Taking inspiration from artists such as Paul Nash, the project aims to make the world of art accessible to everyone. From a World War One themed tale to an interactive quest and pirate adventure, the stories are set to appeal to the whole family.

Performances: 11am, 1pm,  2pm & 3pm

Free event, no need to book.
