- Description
- Decorated, glazed. Described in Harvey Brook's unpublished catalgoue as "Two-thirds portion of a very well designed encaustic stamped border floor tile. The pattern consists of a five leafed wild rose opened in full bloom the outlines of the flower are sharply defined by the deeply sunk parts of the design and the border lines are black. Highly glazed the tile surface is a mottled light green, the pink-yellow of the body of the tile shows where the former glaze has perished."
