Conical chimney louvre. Roof finial or louvre in the form of a tower.
Described with YORYM : 2007.3222 in Eboracum as 'Roof finials, two, terra-cotta, perforated tower-like objects... Each had three storeys and a conical roof, the two upper storeys being pierced by windows. The smaller example [YORYM : 2007.3222] has a knobbed finial at the top and has been broken off at the lower tier of windows. Originally each had a flange (such survives on a similar finial in the Malton Museum), by which which it was held in place by the ridge tiles; the base of [this example] stills shows the beginning of the turn.'
