Square bevelled corners, medicine cure bottle. Embossed on four sides 'Bituminous fluid prepared only by the original discoverer G.Ramsay, Penrith, Cumberland'. Hinge mould, pontil marked, aqua glass, rolled lip, corked. Very rare, early provincial cure bottle.
