- Description
- A painted scene of the Crucifixion with the 3 mourning Maries at Christ's feet, surrounded by several painted decorative borders. First, an orange-brown border painted to imitate a wooden frame with mitred joints, then a top and bottom strip of blue pearls, surrounded by a border of yellow pearls, white crosses, red rinceau, and blue foliage. Beneath the crucifixion is a painted inscription which reads 'H.M. Barnett'.
