Dyed green bone buckle cut from a single piece of bone. Decorated with four simple lines only. Brief description and illustration (figure 19.7) in Waterman, D 1959. pp. 91-92. ' the end is clsft, to a depth of 0.5 in. and for the full width of the plate, to recieve the end of the belt which was secured in place by a pair of bronze pins.' Tongue is missing, and although there is a hole bored through the width of the buckle to hold the tongue rivet in place, the pin is missing and the hole has split.
