Description
Costrel; squat, earthenware vessel. Bulbous body with a narrow neck and a flared, plain rim.Two hand-moulded shoulder blocks are punched through with a single perforation each to create two handles. The foot is irregular. The body has been flatenned diagonally on on the front and rear faces. Fabric is dark grey-red at the surface. Thick brown glaze covering the interior and exterior, abraded on all surfaces.
