Description
Costrel; squat, earthenware vessel. Bulbous body with a narrow neck and a flared, plain rim. Two hand-moulded shoulder blocks are punched through with a single perforation each to create two handles. The foot is irregular. The body has been squared on on the front and rear faces. Fabric is dark red at the surface. Thick brown glaze covering the interior and exterior, patchy at the foot.
