- A salt kit of red earthenware. It is egg-shaped with a circular hand hole in the front. It has a round knop on top. The salt kit is glazed a dark brown with yellow slip crosses decorating the front and sides. A slipware inscrtiption within a dot border sits below the hand hole. The brown glaze does not extend on to the base of the salt kit.
