- Printed red cotton, white cotton, and Turkey red cotton. Applique eight-point stars and diamond-set blocks are arranged in a simple pattern on the large central panel, which is pieced from Turkey red cotton twill and white cotton.The outer borders are made of navy-blue and brown floral printed cotton, separated and defined by a narrow strip of Turkey red. Backed with plain white cotton, with a thin wadding. Neat quilting, with white thread in an all-over Greek key design.
