Cooking Demonstration in the Castle Kitchen.

We’re excited to be opening the Castle Kitchen on various dates throughout October and November where we will be making traditional soul cakes, ready for All Souls Day on 2 November!

Do you know your grocer’s from your greengrocer’s?
Hardware from haberdasher’s?
Confectioner’s from chemist’s? ……. ( hope so!)
Prepare for silliness, stories and urgent shopping with our Kirkgate characters.
Information
Two slightly madcap Victorian characters will be on Kirkgate at various times during the days to interact with each other and with the visitors. Short scenes take place, each concerning a story or a bit of fun about objects to be purchased from the shops of Kirkgate.
