This series of workshops are based on drawing from observation, creating an atmospheric interpretation of the landscape to represent a sense of place. Each session will have a group introduction, followed by individual support. Weather permitting, we will venture out into the gardens behind the art gallery. Surrounded by medieval walls and views of the gardens, we hope you will be inspired by all that you see.
This workshop will take place on our balcony overlooking our artists’ garden and Monet inspired wildflower meadow (weather permitting – the workshop will move indoors in adverse weather conditions).
All materials provided
Suitable for those ages 16+ (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
This workshop is part of our National Treasures: Monet in York exhibition events programme. Entry to the exhibition and our permanent collections is included in the price.
