There will be a commemoration to mark the 1190 massacre of York’s Jewish population at Clifford’s Tower. The event will take place on Thursday 16 March 2023 between 6.30pm to 7.30pm at The Castle Museum, Tower Street, York YO1 9RY.
The commemoration will be attended by the Lord Mayor and Civic Party and will include music, guest speakers from English Heritage and York Interfaith and will conclude with prayer.
All are welcome. Entrance is free, booking is not required and there is access for all. Please join us to recognise this important day in York’s history.
