Visit York Castle Museum as part of our 80th Birthday celebrations! Discover the history of chocolate and how it is used for celebrations. Watch demonstrations of tempering chocolate and making 80th birthday chocolates – you might even get to try some!

This activity takes place 21, 22 and 23 April 2018, 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.

Visit York Castle Museum as part of our 80th Birthday celebrations and meet the actors playing the roles of Dr Kirk, the founder of the museum, and Violet Rodgers, former curator, on the reconstructed Victorian street, Kirkgate, which made the museum so famous.

This activity takes place 21, 22 and 23 April 2018, 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.

Come and create at the Castle! Follow the clues round the galleries to find the different outfits. Collect the costume cards to build up your own muddle and match dress up book.

This activity is available daily from 16 to 22 April 2018, 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.

£2 per activity book (museum admission applies), no need to book.

This event is part of York Fashion Week 2018 with Fashion City York.
