An 8-week course providing an exploration of mindfulness meditation, with creative writing and drawing exercises in each session. Your tutors will be Dr Lauri Bower from York MBSR, and professional artist Clare Belbin-Carlile.

The course will take place on Tuesdays 10am to 12.30pm from 23 January 2018.

Join one of our costumed guides on our famous Victorian street Kirkgate every day at 11.45am and 3.00pm for a free 15 minute informal talk.

Each talk is different but will provide an introduction to Kirkgate, the history of York Castle Museum, and the objects on display, as well as the people who lived and worked in York during the Victorian period of 1870-1901.
