‘When the Somme Ran Red’ – Live Performance – Fri 29 Jul 2016

Meet actor Chris Cade who tells the story of WW1 soldier Arthur Radclyffe Dugmore. Join the veteran soldier as he looks back on his life, including his time in the
battlefields of the Somme.

Multiple performances from 11am to 4pm – please ask at Admissions for confirmed times and location.

Additional performances take place on 5, 12, 19 and 26 August 2016.

Meet our First World War soldier and help him build a section of trench wall. Find out about the daily life of a soldier on the front and be put through your paces in a drill session. This activity takes place in our outside Mill Area.
