Meet Mr Tackleton the Toy Maker, who hates children as much as he hates making toys, as featured in Charles Dicken’s Christmas story The Cricket on the Hearth.

Follow his story as he discovers some Victorian Christmas cheer!

Victorian Christmas Experience! – Fri 19 Dec 2014

One hour tours, from 5.00pm

A unique and magical Christmas evening for all the family in our Victorian Street, Kirkgate. Meet the people of Kirkgate as they make their Christmas preparations, while you take part in your own Victorian Christmas shopping trip. Can you find all the presents on the shopping list? For families who manage to find all the Christmas gifts there is a very special person to meet.

Price includes shopping list gifts, present from Father Christmas for the children and coffee and mince pies (juice and biscuits for children).

Child – £7.50
Adult – £6.00

Includes admission.
