Description

Beaver fur covered hat to the pattern. Has two sides of brim turned up permanently to create a 'fore and aft' cocked hat. Has General Officer's braid with bullion around a single General Officer's button and bullion fringes at either end. Silk lining. Lining damaged and partly loose. The wooden lining/stiffening to one of the points has been broken.
