Description
A porcelain amphora-shaped vase with a square foot. The handles are gilt and moulded with foliate terminals. The body of the vase is blue with an oblong panel of a still life enamelled in colours on one side. This panel has a wide gilt border with a burnished design of leaves in each corner. The other side of the vase is decorated with a round panel showing a spray of flowers and a butterfly in colours, framed with gilt foliage and swags. The rim and pediment are decorated with broad lines of gilt.
