- Steel breastplate with folded edges along the sides and the neck. 32 brass studs around the edge inside an engraved line which follows the shape of the armour, there are remains of hessian type cloth tapes for attachment of a lining. There is a pronounced ridge running down the centre of the chest line with two spherical brass lugs for the attachment of shoulder straps either side of the ridge.
