- Description
- Service dress jacket of khaki barathea. Small collar with lapels, each side has an Royal Army Service Corps metal badge of an eight point star. Two large breast pockets and two smaller pockets below the waist. Shoulder straps fastening with a button, each with two bright rank stars. Each shoulder has a cloth badge bearing the regiments name 'WOMEN'S TRANSPORT CORPS F.A.N.Y.' (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry). Lined with khaki silk. Fastens down the front with four General Service metal buttons.
Maker's label also has 'MISS M. E. WILKINSON 655YY M. MAR 1943' handwritten in ink.
Above the left breast pocket are medal ribbons of Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal and Territorial Decoration.
