Roses are red, violets are blue, if you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day with a difference, we’ve got the event for you!

Whether you’re single, coupled-up, or anywhere in between, this Valentine’s Day join York Castle Museum for a special ‘speed-dating’ event against a backdrop of the award-winning exhibition, Museum of Broken Relationships.

You will be introduced to objects that have ‘submitted’ a dating profile to us. A long time ago they were loved, but now it’s a bit more complicated.

Pick up a score card, a glass of wine and enjoy a buffet supplied by Goji York as you get up close and personal with carefully selected items from the collections; some with an air of mystery, some that are adult-only and some that will definitely cause sparks to fly.

Did your head get turned? Vote for which item will move from ‘It’s complicated’ to ‘In a relationship with York Castle Museum’ and be in with a chance to win a dinner for two at a popular York restaurant and other prizes.

Tickets are £12 and include; admission, a buffet style meal by Goji vegetarian café, two drinks and entry into a competition for a dinner voucher for two with runner up prizes.
