York Museums Trust is thrilled to be launching the latest issue of our Heritage Hunters community magazine, this time focusing on the history of Clifton.
Held in partnership with Accessible Arts & Media and Clifton Explore, this will be a vibrant community event to celebrate everyone who has taken part in the project.
We invite you to drop in, explore, and create with us. The event will include the chance to:
- Take part in a Clifton mapping activity by adding your own words, memories or drawings directly onto a shared ‘doodled map’ of the area to build a picture of local place and experience
- Hear from some of this year’s resident researchers and creatives who are published in the magazine
- Try short 1-to-1 immersive iMUSE sessions with calming sound and visuals designed by you, for relaxation, creativity, and wellbeing
- Find out about Accessible Arts & Media and creative opportunities for local families and residents
- Learn more about the work of York Museums Trust and ways to get involved
- Refrenshments are provided free of charge
