York Museums Trust have some incredible events happening across the bank holiday weekend that are not to be missed! 

Taking place in the Gardens and at York Art Gallery on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, will be a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture marks the close of Making Waves: The Art of Japanese Woodblock Print, the Gallery’s acclaimed exhibition. Enjoy free activities outdoors and exclusive experiences inside, including printmaking, face painting, tea tasting, sun ring making, jiu-jitsu demonstrations, Japanese harp and drumming performances, choir performances, and more.  

Make the most of the final weekend of the exhibition, stay all day to eat, play and relax alongside the beautiful Japanese Garden at the back of the Gallery.
