Looking for something fun to do before back to school? The Yorkshire Museum has the answer!

If the Yorkshire Museum has not already been on the summer to-do list, add it now!

With only two weeks left of the summer holidays, now is the perfect time to visit the Yorkshire Museum and make the most of the interactive activities, craft sessions and amazing exhibits before term starts again.

Grab a dinosaur backpack and explore the Mary Anning and Jurassic galleries with dino themed entertainment for younger ones, whilst spotting real fossils and dino bones on their adventures.

Visitors have limited time left to meet historical characters as they roam the museum sharing stories and facts about life in the past! Catch them on one final Tuesday, 24 August and Fridays, 21 and 28 August, before they travel back to their own era.

There is only one more Melsonby Hoard treasure trove crafting session next Wednesday, 26 August, though Viking beaded jewellery and bug brooch making are available every day for the final two weeks of the holidays, both crowd pleasers so far.

Book tickets now to secure a successful end to the summer, pay once and receive all these free activities and unlimited return visits for a year!
