Shako covered with black wool. Leather crown and peak. Large metal cap badge at the front of a Yorkshire rose, above is a black cloth rosette. The long horse hair plume is in a gilt metal holder. Chin strap which sits above the peak is of white metal 'scales'. Lined with leather.
