Description
Earthenware cup; waisted cup or lower half of a tyg. Upper section missing. Waisted section beneath broken rim/upper, expands before tapering to a prominent foot. One handle survives intact, the other as a scar. Fabric is a dark brown. A thick, black glaze covers exterior and interior, stopping at the underside of the foot. One small area of this glaze is pitted. Decorated with clay-applique on two faces, coloured yellow, in the form of a large central dots surrounded, in a triangle, by three other dots. Black Ware.
