- A salt kit of red earthenware. It is egg-shaped with a flat back, the hand hole in the front has an arched cover over the top. It has a knop on top of three folded lobes in front of a small handle. The salt kit is glazed a dark brown, sgraffito decorated on the sides with flowers in white slip. The front of the salt kit below the hand hole has sgraffito initials and a date within a chain border.
