Described in Eboracum as"Dedication tablet of gritstone, 21 ins by 10ins by 10 ins, with an inscription in a sunk and moulded panel. The stone is heavily weatherd and its top left-hand corner has been broken off; coars chisel strokes have later damaged both the moulding and the lettering. Found on the E side of Coney street in 1702, in digging a cellar. GENIO LOCI/ FELICITER 'Good luck to the Genius of the place.' "
