Plate it up! – Family Friendly – Sat 21 Aug 2021
11am-1pm, £16 per family
Book tickets here
After months of turbulence our brains are overflowing. Worry, grief, anger, hopes, dreams – let’s get it all out and plate it up in this fun, family activity!
Join North Yorkshire artist Anna Whitehouse to create your own personalised ceramic plates, inspired by our Grayson Perry exhibition.
Decorate with sgraffito, stencilling and printing techniques, using a North Yorkshire clay slip which Anna has dug and processed from her own garden. Plates will be glazed and fired in Anna’s studio to make them foodsafe and returned to the gallery for you to collect. Price includes all materials, guidance to produce 2 plates per family, firing and event booking fee.
Please note:
1 x Family ticket is for max 2 adults & 3 children
To avoid disruptions and ensure that workshop participants have the best experience, please note that if you are more than 20 mins late for your workshop and haven’t let us know, unfortunately we may not be able to guarantee entry.
