Join Dr Alaina Schmisseur of Rook Heritage Consulting for a short talk about the conservation work they will be doing on the Sherriff’s Coach. The talks will take place on Kirkgate near the carriage and will be free with admission.

Prior to setting up RCH, Dr. Alaina Schmisseur worked with social history and transport collections at the National Museum Wales, National Railway Museum and Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute as well as numerous other heritage organisations in the UK and abroad.  Alaina will be joined by Helen Gartside-Jones, a specialist decorative surfaces and social history conservator based in Knaresborough.
