Get Buzzing – Sat 1 Sep 2018

A girl holding her phone in the air. She's stood in a colourful art installation.

Get buzzing at The Plant Pavillion.

What’s it like to be a bee? Or a butterfly? Or a wasp? Find out through laughter, rhythm and rhyme with Anneliese Emmans Dean, winner of the 2017 York Culture Award for Excellence in Writing.

Listen to, join in with and create your own pollinator poems as we explore the plants and creatures in The Plant Pavillion and the wider Museum Gardens beyond.

This activity is free and open to children aged 5-11. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Meet at The Plant Pavillion on the Artists Garden.

For the full programme of family-friendly events, visit The Pollinarium. All events are free.
