Birthday Buttons – Fri 24 May 2019
Celebrate the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria today at York Art Gallery.
Work alongside artist Alison Welsh, embellishing a crinoline inspired dress with buttons. Take inspiration from the ceramic buttons of Dame Lucie Rie surrounding you whilst you stitch.
The resulting dress will remain on display in the exhibition.
Drop-in artist-led workshop suitable for adults and children over the age of 8 with accompanying adults. Baby friendly resources are available.
Included in Art Gallery admission. No need to book.
