The RPS Landscape Group Members’ Exhibition comes to Yorkshire; 8+ locations, from launch at Southwark Cathedral in May 2025 to finishing in Inverness in Spring 2026. See 80 beautiful prints: from London to Antarctica; rural & urban; land & sea; from big scenes to intimate abstracts. Includes images by RPS Yorkshire members.
Founded in 1853, current patron HRH The Princess of Wales, the RPS mission is to bring inspiration, creativity and connection through photography to people of all ages and back- grounds. The Landscape Group has 1200 members and is one of 16 special interest groups.

Picturehouse Cinemas are bringing their ever-popular Outdoor Cinema back to York this September for a weekend of fantastic movies at York Museum Gardens.

An atmospheric social experience for the cinema fan who wants to experience something a little different; Outdoor Cinema has been a highlight of the Picturehouse summer schedule for over a decade.

As ever, Outdoor Cinema promises carefully curated cult classics, guilty pleasures, and new favourites – and this year is no different with three bona fide gems.
To sweeten the deal even more – every ticket includes £6 to spend on an array of refreshments from the well-stocked pop-up bar to enjoy under the moonlight.

  • Doors will open at 6:30pm each evening with time to get settled.
  • Film start times vary depending on when the sun has set (approx. 8:15pm).
  • Seating is available but is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Attendees are welcome to bring their own blankets and chairs. Ponchos and blankets will also be available to purchase.
  • Food and drink will be available on site. Bringing your own alcohol is strictly forbidden.
  • There will be portable toilets at the entrance of the location including an access toilet.
