Description

Range finder and its wooden box. Box is of a pale-coloured wood, with a leather handle on top. The box fastens shut with 2 hooks and nails, Inside, the box has fittings, some covered in green felt, so that the instrument will not move around in the box. The range finder is black and has a lens and a fluted, white rubber rest for the eye at one end, and a small lens at the other. Near the eyepiece end of the telescope is a dial that ranges from -5 to +5, and is textured where it can be turned.
