Description

Right leg harness and sabaton manufactured from steel and rivetted together to allow movement where required. The knee joint is made from four overlapping steel plates with side protection in the shape of a shell. The sabaton is joined to the lower part of the legharness by rivets and covers the whole foot, consisting of seven shaped plates of steel, extending outwards towards the toe. The front of the sabaton is flat. The greave is hinged to allow access and secured with a pin and hole fastening.The whole piece, except the greave, is decorated with fluting. Part of a replica suit of armour.
