Head of woman with third century hairstyle, probably a funerary monument. Described in Eboracum as "Statue, head, of a woman, life size, 10ins high, in limestone; the nose damaged. Her hair is parted in the middle, waved, drawn back over the ears and turned up behind in a chignon, a style fashionable in the middle of the third century AD. It was probably from a funerary monument."
